西内SINE

谁说这是西内的自言自语!?这很重要的，不是什么荒谬的梦想!听着:中国在过去几年里种植的树木比任何国家都多。中国有大量的人力，而且树木是最经济的去除空气中雾霾的方法。而且它们一边长，一边这么做，长得越大，吸得越厉害，“吸碳”。但这需要时间。然后它们死去，或者被砍倒，或者被森林大火烧毁。碳又回到了空气中。一种更快更持久的方法是让雾霾变成岩石，就像行星冷却时把气体变成岩石一样。我们可以实现的，但是成本很高。就是对乘飞机收取额外费用，然后运行机器将飞机的废气从空气中分离出来并推入地面吗?请阅读我的链接。
Who called this Sine’s soliloquy! ? This is important, not some stupid dream! Listen: China has planted more trees the past few years than anybody. It has much manpower and trees are the cheapest way to pull smog out of the air. They do it as they grow, and the bigger they get, the more they pull. “Carbon capture” But this takes time. And then they die, or get cut down, or forest fire. Carbon is back in the air again. A quicker and more permanent method is to make smog into rock the way planets make gas into rock as they cool. People can do this, but it's expensive. Just charge extra for airplane rides to later run machines pulling airplane exhaust out of the air and push it into the ground? Read my link in this note.

这一点我同意西内的想法。那些赚得盆满钵满，整天喋喋不休地谈论国民生产总值的大人物们幻想出了“碳信用”，让那些可能不得不花钱适应的人逃避现实。我觉得你要喊“停”! 如果这需要一场瘟疫才能实现，那就顺其自然吧。印第安人当时就是这样的，或者说就像查科一样。
I'm with Sine on this one. The big wheels that stuff their pockets and riff about GNP all the time dreamed up "carbon credits" that just let those who might have to shell out something to adapt weasel out of facing reality. I say just yell "Stop!" If it takes a pandemic to make it happen, so be it. It sure worked for the Indians. It's either that or Chaco.
